It's a small, hole in the wall taco joint. Great food, atmosphere is what you'd expect for a place like this. Overall, I'd say probably not the best place for a Friday night date, but a great place for some inexpensive great tasting Mexican food.

Excellent tacos! Authentic AF in all aspects. Customer service was great too, they gave my 1 year old niece a bowl of rice just to be nice.

Love it! Best tacos and gorditas around. It might take a little longer than your average taco joint, but everything is made fresh! Top notch.

Good food. Pretty good service. But I'd love some deals or something. I enjoy trying new food, and I'd love a deal like a when you buy five tacos it's slightly cheaper than buying each individually. It's a nice restaurant and it's good at what it does.

Best tacos ever!! I have never tried something here that I didn’t like. I always get steak tacos, and their steak tacos are great. I usually don’t like chicken tacos but I love the ones they make! I have no idea what they do to season their chicken but it’s amazing. The fish tacos here are also super tasty too! Great service! I like to call ahead with my order and they get it as take out and I never have to wait in the restaurant unless there is a line already. I love the red salsa but I know some people find it spicy. Discounted tacos on Tuesdays!

Found out from an employee that their steak tacos are mixed with left overs. I'll never eat there again. Horrible Customer service. Just looking to sell what they have as fast as they can before anyone realizes what's going on behind the curtin. Some black guy grabbed a Customer by his throat while I was there because he complained about the Customer service. Scary thing to experience and Police where called.

Had a craving for their fish tacos even though I live 25 minutes away, near lots of authentic Mexican restaurants. Totally worth the drive, and even better than I remembered.

Small, hole-in-the-wall taco joint. Delicious food with a friendly staff. It's a take-out only kind of place, but there is a small dining room if you want to eat there. Fair prices, daily specials, and they deliver. I always judge a taco joint by their tamales.... Main Street Tacos has good pork tamales!

Great food! It's the first time I've had fish tacos, and they were absolutely delicious! I tried the steak taco too, and that was good as well, although my husband said the marinated steak taco was better. Its located in a cute little town too.

I always come purchasing some food in this spot. I love the fast service and well made food. They never disappoint.

The absolute best mexican food. We have eaten here many times since we moved to Wauconda and we will keep going! This is delicious truly authentic Mexican food.

We really enjoy this place! It's right down the street from our house, so all we do is carry out. Place a phone order and by the time we get there it's ready! It's quick, well priced and delicious. We love the steak tacos. Guacamole and pico are always fresh.

Great, inexpensive tacos and other specialties

Yesterday was our first time we came to that place. But It is definitely not the last time. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the courteous service, with the finest dishes and wine and with the friendly charge. We will definitely visit there soon.

Amazing tacos for a great price. Never have been unsatisfied with any order at this location. Great tasting horchata and spicy salsa. Hardworking, fast paced cashiers and cooks. A family owned store who are very respected for their work ethic. This a store the community loves and supports. I recommend this place to all my friends!

Good food, but no way of getting a cup of water. Unless u want to pay $1.25 for a bottle. If u want chips and salsa, it's another $2.50. Something that I would normally pay $6 for at a different, here will run u $11.

Fan-MEXICAN-Tastic!!!!This is a little place you’d miss if your traveling distracted down Main St. but once you find it, I promise you taco Tuesday will never be the same. The steak tacos are phenomenal in taste, portion and price and likely the most popular. But I just want to remind everyone that steak tacos are just a small part of an amazing menu! Try this: the beef tongue tacos are simply the best in the business, soft , lean, well seasoned and perfectly cooked. Chicharrón (pork rinds) gorditas are a dream and their tortas (Mexican style sandwich) will leave you wanting one more. Pair these with agua de horchata (sweet rice water) and your Tuesday will be redefined. Guaranteed.Everything I have had in this place is a step up from other Mexican Taco places so my very sincere compliments to the cook and very nice and welcoming owners. Great job Guys!!!

This spot is my preferred one. I visit a lot of restaurants but to this place I constantly return again and again. The stuff is very cordial and the food they serve is so delicious. I never miss an opportunity to have a nice dinner here. I highly recommend this place.

Little family run taco shop off Main Street with all the usual Mexican food favorites. Food is probably the best Mexican in Wauconda, in my opinion anyway. Staff is also super friendly.

Their tacos packed full with flavor you can’t go wrong! Very reasonably priced! Wash it down with a cup of horchata so good! Very kind friendly staff family friendly! Very clean facility dining and restrooms as well! Decor is not too much not too little either. If you’re looking for a good place for tacos and other Hispanic dishes look no further! Comfort food like my mom makes and you can tell the food is made with quality. highly recommend!

Best tacos in town

Great place with cheap prices, hard to find that today. Tacos on Tuesday are also cheaper, though the the tacos are little in size. As a non Spanish speaker I found the menue a little hard to easily follow. To use credit card there is a $5 charge as well...so just have cash handy.

This place is legit. Come here every time I visit my bf from out of state. Selection is authentic (with texmex options for those who are into that), everything tastes great, and the staff is always friendly.

By far the best tacos and salsa. Officially my new favorite place! Was worth the 2 day wait from 5 de Mayo's 1.5 hour wait.
